II.  Hebrew chronology

Chronology is the science, which treats of time, its object being to arrange and exhibit the various events, which have occurred in the history of the world in the order of their succession, and to ascertain the intervals of time between them (1).    

The Hebrew calendar is based on the Creation era.

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
(Genesis 1:1)

According to Jewish tradition, this era started in the fall of 3761 BC (2).  In the Hebrew system, the day starts and ends at sunset.

And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night.
And the evening and the morning were the first day.
(Genesis 1:5)

The longest invariable unit of time is the week of 7 days, based on the creation account.

And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.  (Genesis 2:2)

The days of the week are assigned numbers but no names, except the seventh day, called the Sabbath by the Creator (Exodus 16:23).  The Creator sanctified (made Holy) the Sabbath and set it apart as a day of rest and a delight, with a promise for Sabbath keepers:

If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words.
Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.
(Isaiah 58: 13, 14)

The weekly Sabbath is the first Feast of the Lord. 

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.
Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings.  
(Leviticus 23:2,3)

The weekly Sabbath keeping is also one of the 10 commandments (Exodus 20: 8-11).  Obviously, the Most High gives a lot of importance to Sabbath keeping (See Appendix I).

 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: but the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.   
(Exodus 20: 8-11)

Sabbath keeping is an acknowledgment that the God worshipped is the Creator of heaven and earth, and therefore, the Creator of all the pagan gods.  This is why this commandment is very offensive and demeaning to Satan and his devotees who worshiped him as coequal to the Creator. 

“…the true and pure philosophical religion is the belief in Lucifer, the equal of Adonay (for the reader’s information, Adonay is Jesus Christ) but Lucifer, God of Light and God of Good, is struggling for humanity against Adonay, the God of Darkness and Evil.” (3)

In the Encyclopedia of Catholicism (4), under the heading “What Catholics believe”, the same heresy of Satan’s equality to the Creator is promulgated. Satan is not the serpent deceiving Eve, according to these Devil’s advocates.

“There is no question of an ongoing battle between two coequal (or nearly coequal) forces: God and Satan.”

“The snake in the account of the temptation of Adam and Eve in Genesis was not meant to symbolize the devil.  Most likely it was introduced as a trickster to awaken Eve’s curiosity.”

In Isaiah 14:12-15, Lucifer wanted to be coequal to the Creator, but his eternal destiny is in the Lake of Fire (Revelation 20:10) where he will be coequal to everybody he has deceived.
The Roman Catholic Church, Satan’s religious masterpiece, have persecuted and killed the disciples of Jesus Christ throughout the world for keeping the fourth commandment.  For those of you who are still confused and those of you who have been deceived, the Sabbath corresponds to the day of the week known in the English language by the name of Saturday, according to the Roman calendar.  The Sabbath starts at sunset on Friday and ends at sunset on Saturday.  Many Christian pastors and reverends have been deceived by the Roman Catholic Church into believing that the Sabbath was changed from Saturday to Sunday because Jesus Christ resurrected on Sunday.  They did not do their homework and they are like the blind leading the blind.

According to the gospel of Matthew; the resurrection occurred on Saturday before sunset (See Chapter IV).  However, the early Christian church worshipped on the Sabbath not because Jesus Christ resurrected on the Sabbath, but, because it is the fourth commandment (See Appendix I) and Jesus Christ stated:

Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.  
(Matthew 5:17-19)

Sunday was not a day of rest until the Roman Emperor Constantine Augustus, the founder of the Roman Catholic Religion, imposed it by an imperial decree in AD 321.  Sabbath keeping was prohibited by the Council of Laodicea in AD 363 (See Chapter V).  Sunday, the venerable day of the invincible Sun deity, Satan, is the day of worship for the Imperial Christian Church, the Roman Catholic Church, which is in bondage under the god of this world, Satan; not for the disciples of Jesus Christ who are no longer in bondage under Satan, but taken out of the world to serve the LORD and to rest with Him on the Sabbath.  In these last days, there are many wolves under sheepskin masquerading as Evangelical Christian Pastors.  You shall know them by the way they keep and preach the Ten Commandments.  Don’t be deceived.  The Sabbath is still the 7th day of the week.

All the names of the days of the week in the Roman calendar have a pagan origin corresponding to the names of pagan deities.  Pagan astronomers assigned the names of these deities to the visible celestial bodies in our solar system (5).

In Table I, a comparison is made between the day, week, month and year of the Hebrew versus the Roman time reckoning systems.  The weekly Sabbath is not Sunday, the venerable day of the invincible Sun deity Mithras. “The Roman Mithras was a sun-god (deus sol Invictus Mithras; Invincible sungod Mithras)…the savior of the sworn brothers of his cult”(6).  Sunday is the day of worship for the devotees of that Sun deity savior who will be ashamed after the return of Jesus Christ.

                       
Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.     (Isaiah 24:23)


Besides the weekly Sabbath, the Creator has appointed two other Sabbaths.  First, a seventh year Sabbath for the land, with one year of rest and regeneration every seven years.

       
Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them,
When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the Lord.  Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vinyard, and gather in the fruit thereof;
But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the LORD: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.     (Leviticus 25:2-4)

The Jubilee is a seven times seven years cycle with two years of rest for the land: the expected year of rest at the end of the seven times seven years, plus an extra 50th year of rest, called Jubilee.

On the Day of Atonement of the 50th year, the Israelites were told to sound the trumpet and proclaim liberty to the captive slaves that the Israelites had in their possession.  Jubilee is the year of liberation from bondage, the year of emancipation from captivity and slavery. 

And thou shalt number seven Sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven Sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years.  Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.
And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.
A jubilee shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed.  For it is the jubilee, it shall be holy unto you: ye shall eat the increase thereof out of the field.
In the year of this jubilee ye shall return every man unto his possession.    (Leviticus 25: 8-13)

Please note, that although liberty is proclaimed on the Day of Atonement, the liberation from bondage is “in the year of Jubilee”, that is throughout the year, not only on the day of Atonement.  Moses arrived in Egypt to proclaim liberty to the captive Israelites on the day of Atonement, during the fall of the year 1447 BC, but the Israelites were not liberated from Egyptian bondage until 6 months later in the spring of 1446 BC on the Feast of Passover and during the Feast of unleavened bread.  The first Jubilee (Liberation from bondage) occurred in 1446 BC.
The Creator reassured the Israelites that they would not starve during the two years of rest for the land.

And if ye shall say, What shall we eat the seventh year? behold, we shall not sow, nor gather in our increase:Then I will command my blessing upon you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years.
And ye shall sow the eighth year, and eat yet of old fruit until the ninth year; until her fruits come in ye shall eat of the old store.
(Leviticus 25: 20-22)

Using the cycle of the moon for the month, and the cycle of the sun for the seasons of the solar year, the Hebrew calendar is luni-solar.  The month starts and ends with the new moon. The lunar cycle has a duration of 29 ½ days and therefore it does not end at the same time of the day as the time of its beginning.  To correct for this, the 12 lunar months of the Hebrew calendar alternate between 29 and 30 days per month.  Twelve lunar months are roughly 11 days shorter than the solar year.  In order for the seasons to appear at the right calendar dates, an extra month of 30 days called Adar I is added during seven leap years over a recurrent 19 year cycle.

This 19 year cycle, called Metonic cycle, is based on the fact that after every cycle, the new moon reoccurs on the same date, although not on the same day of the week.  In order to calculate the ordinal position of a particular Hebrew year in the 19 year cycle, you divide that year by 19 and the remainder or quotient indicates the position of that year in the 19 year cycle.  The 3rd, 6th, 8th, 11th, 14th, 17th, and 19th year are leap years.  The 19 year cycle is adequate for timing the Hebrew holydays because these holidays, except for the weekly Sabbath, did not have to occur on a specific day of the week.

After the Exodus, the Creator started the sacred year in the spring with Abib, the first month.  The Creator assigned numbers to the other eleven Hebrew months.  The name Abib means spring, sprouting, new beginning.  After the Babylonian captivity, Abib was changed to the pagan name Nisan, and pagan names were assigned to the other months.  The current Hebrew calendar uses the civil year, with Tishri as the first month, in the fall.  Every month has a name instead of a number in the current Hebrew calendar, and all of these names have a pagan origin corresponding to the 12 signs of the Zodiac (See Table II).  The name of the 4th Hebrew month is Tammuz, the satanic messiah in the Babylonian version of the satanic trinity. 

The Most High complained in Ezekiel 8:14-16, about Jewish women weeping for the slain Babylonian Messiah Tammuz, and Jewish men worshipping resurrected Tammuz, facing east, turning their back on the Temple. The Babylonian deity Tammuz is the Egyptian sun deity Osiris/Horus (8). The fourth Hebrew month Tammuz corresponds to the constellation of the Zodiak called Crab. The Hebrew name for that constellation is Sartan, and without the “r”, Satan.  So, Tammuz/Osiris is Satan.  Essentially, these Jews were worshipping Satan.

Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the LORD’s house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz.  Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see greater abominations than these.

And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD’s house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east(Ezekiel 8:14-16)

Even today, Jews in Jerusalem worship facing east when they pray facing the Western “Wailing” Wall.  They are still worshipping the sungod Tammuz/Osiris/Satan.  In the practice of Yoga, Sun Worship is called Sun Salutation (9).  According to Yoga expert R. Rosen, “Traditionally, Sun Salutation is best performed outdoors, facing east – the location of the rising sun,…”  “One of the means of honoring the sun is through the dynamic asana sequence Surya Namaskar (better know as Sun Salutation).  The Sanskrit word namaskar stems from namas, which means “to bow to” or “to adore.” ”(9).  What is the name of the god worshipped in the practice of yoga?  Let the yoga experts tell us.  In the March 2004 issue of Yoga International, Rolf Sovik discussed the great mantra to Shiva, the Lord of Yogis: “OM. We worship and adore you, O three eyed one, O Shiva…”.  Shiva is one of Satan’s many names in pagan civilizations and religions. (Discussed further in Appendix II and Chapter V.)  Christian America is rapidly adopting the idolatrous sun worship practices of ancient Israel, but packaged under the name Yoga.  The Jewish men in Ezekiel 8:16 were practicing Yoga through the dynamic asana sequence Surya Namaskar, worshipping the sungod Siva/Tammuz/Osiris/Satan. 

In the weekly news report called “The Week” October 2003, there was an article on Yoga:  “Named after the Sanskrit word yuj, meaning “union,” yoga began in India about 5,000 years ago as an attempt to join body, mind, and spirit.”  “Some 18 million Americans currently practice the ancient spiritual discipline.”  This time period, that is 5000 years ago, coincides with the time period of the biblical account when the fallen angels cohabitated and had offspring with earthly women. (Genesis 6:2,4)  Yoga is an attempt to achieve godhood by joining your body, mind and soul to the spirit of the sungod, Satan, therefore, sharing his divinity (See Appendix II).  Eve was the first human being to be deceived by Satan with the promise of goddesshood.

Physician Marianne J. Legato in her book “Eve’s Rib” proposed a possible scenario during the courtship between Satan and Eve (10).  Apparently, Eve asked Satan a question: “Although we can’t know precisely what she wanted to ask, I’ve always imagined that one of her questions was this: How am I different from Adam? … She tempts her hapless mate into an ill-fated collaboration to acquire that knowledge (which, she is assured by Satan, will give her more power over the world around her)…”.  In this plot, Satan is the hero and the Creator is the villain.  According to Doctor Legato, the fall of Eve and Adam was the greatest thing that ever happened to mankind: “Eve’s apple, … was the ultimate prize that Paradise had to offer.”  Obviously, the doctor must have insider information since nowhere in the Bible is the forbidden fruit identified with the apple.

Hindu teachers promoting deceptively but very successfully the idolatrous worship of the sungod Siva/Tammuz/Osiris/Satan through Yoga practices in Christian America must think, and rightly so, that Christians are very, very stupid.

Hath a nation changed their gods which are yet no gods?
but my people have changed their glory for that which doth not profit.
Only acknowledge thine iniquity,
that thou hast transgressed against the LORD thy God.
And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.  
(Jeremiah 2:11; 3:13,15)

Although the spiritual discipline of Yoga was known in India for millennia, it was introduced in the west only recently.  The practice of Yoga came to Christian America in 1920.  In that year 1920, Paramahansa Yogananda, assisted by the Theosophical Society, founded an organization called Self Realization Fellowship to train the locals in the practice of Yoga.  The Theosophical Society was founded in 1875 by Luciferian Helena Petrovna Blavatsky (1831-1891) in New York with headquarters established in London, England in 1887.  The symbol logo of the theosophical society (11) is the hexagram with the tau cross in the center (Fig. 1).  The tau cross represents resurrected Tammuz (The future Risen Pope).  The hexagram is the union of heaven (the upward triangle) with hell (the downward triangle).  The tau cross has the same symbolic meaning as the number 666, the number of the Antichrist.  Heaven for the initiates of secrete societies is the Greater Lodge of Osiris on the Sirius Tristellar Complex where the Lake of Fire is located. (See page 119) 

Blavatsky started the theosophical magazine called “Lucifer the light-bringer” (See Appendix II).  Achieving Self-Realization means that you have finally realized that you are a god (divus) or goddess (diva) because of the union of your small self with the greater collective Self of the god Siva.  Satan promised Eve the same Self-Realization in the Garden of Eden 6,000 years ago. 

And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.   
(Genesis 3:4,5)

During the 1920’s, due to the influence of the Self Realization Fellowship, Christian America, in search of religious adventure, started investigating the Hindu teachings, including trips to India.
Miss Katherine Mayo published a book in 1927 after visiting India and after getting acquainted with Eastern Mysticism.

“Miss Mayo, in her book Mother India, published in 1927, gives an interesting description of a temple of Kali, “Kali Ghat” – place of Kali – is the root-word of the name Calcutta … Kali is a Hindu goddess, wife of the great god Siva, whose attribute is destruction and whose thirst is for blood and death-sacrifice.” (12)

Miss Mayo in 1927 gave an admonition to American women who were involved in the Self-Realization Fellowship and Yoga Movement.  Did she foresee the current explosion of idolatry through Yoga practice and the worship of Siva/Satan?  Currently, 18 million Americans practice Yoga instead of preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ to Hindus!  The Doctrine of Self-Realization promoted the idea that one could achieve godhood or goddesshood through spiritual exercises (Yoga) and the worship of Shiva/Kali (12).

Shiva/Kali are the male and female aspects of hermaphrodite Satan, previously Lucifer.  In Table III, the evolution of Lucifer from covering Cherub (Station I) to permanent resident in the Lake of Fire (Station IX) is outlined.  The ultimate destiny of Lucifer in the Lake of Fire is the best kept secret in secret societies.  This table is available free of charge, size 14” x 18”, as a laminated poster suitable for framing.  Compared to the fictitious 14 stations of Isis searching the 14 body parts of mystically mutilated Osiris, Christianized into the 14 stations of the Cross by the Roman Catholic Church (see Appendix III), the 9 stations of Lucifer are more realistic and based on the Received Text (The Bible).  Besides being fictitious and idolatrous, the 14 Icons in the Stations of the Cross are cumbersome, space occupying and expensive.  For example, Monastery Icons from Sacred Arts Foundation in Blue Springs, MO, sell these 14 stations of Isis to the deceived public at these prices: From 8” x 10” = $359.95 to 19” x 24” = $2,899.95

One American woman who was not taken for a ride, Miss Mayo, warned American women, after experiencing first hand the havoc caused by the worship of Shiva in the practice of Yoga:

“My final work is a word of warning to American women: Keep away from the Swamis, the Yogis, the traveling teaching men.  You would need no such bidding if, for an instant, you guessed the truth.  In your good faith, in your eager-minded receptivity of high-sounding doctrine, in your hunger for colour, romance, glamour, and dreams come true, you expose yourself, all unsuspecting, to things that, if you knew them, would kill you dead with unmerited shame.”

When some of these female Yoga practitioners finally achieved the “self-realization” that they were taken for a ride, they were driven to what is commonly known as “Yoga Rage” followed a few months later by unwanted “Yoga Babies”.  Many remained in India, “with unmerited shame”.
The Swamis and Yogis were idolized by their female devotees.

“Vallabhacharya is believed to have been an incarnation of the god Krishna, and that the Marharajas, as descendants of Vallabhacharya, have claimed and received from their followers the like character of incarnations of that god by hereditary succession.  The ceremonies of the worship paid to Krishna through these priests are all of the most licentious character.  The love and subserviency due to a Supreme Being are here materialized and transferred to those who claim to be the living incarnations of the god.  Hence the priests exercise an unlimited influence over their female votaries.” (12)



An ex-priest of Kali described the last stage of his initiation when he finally realized that he is a god.  He confirmed Miss Mayo’s statement about human sacrifices.

“He (the initiate) is asked at this juncture whether he is prepared to kill anyone.  Even his own child – for the sake of the goddess of destruction. …Those who have reached this advanced stage believe they have great magical power; they are told the final secret by their Guru: there is no such thing as … right and wrong; nothing but you and those like you.  You are of the nature of a god.” (13)

…ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.   (Genesis 3:5)

Although Christians have a unique opportunity to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to Hindus, they instead adopt the pagan practices of India.  This monograph may assist Christians in witnessing to Hindus by showing them that all the gods worshiped by ancient civilizations represent different aspects of the same deity, Satan, a rebelled archangel whose eternal destiny is in the Lake of Fire! (See Appendix II and Table III).  There is no requirement to worship Satan in order to breathe deeply, to stretch your muscles and to relax.  All these can be performed while praising your Creator and Redeemer, Jesus Christ.  For car racing enthusiasts, NASCAR is an abbreviation for NAMASCAR.  For Hollywood fans, OSCAR means sungod.  Movie theatres evolved from Greek theaters and Greek theaters evolved from Dionysian worship, Dionysius being one of the many names of Satan (See Chapter V, and Appendix III).

The City of Calcuta was built in honor of Kali and means “Place of Kali”, as Miss Mayo explained.  The Hindu Queen of Heaven, Kali, is the Roman Catholic Mary.  Mother Theresa of Calcuta means Mother Theresa of Kali.  A very wealthy Hindu priest of Kali living in California claims that his wealth is due to his transportation of Calcuta in California.  Translated from symbolic to literal interpretation, his fortune came from the Hindu Queen of Heaven Kali for bringing Kali’s worship to Christian America.  He stated that he collects and loves Cars.  CAR in sanskrint means sun, as the symbol of the sungod Shiva.  NAMASCAR means to bow to and worship the sungod.  NASCAR is an abbreviation of NAMASCAR.  Essentially, he is expressing his love for the sungod Shiva and his wife Kali, the male and female aspects of Satan.  So much deception and covert iodolatry in Christian America.  Obviously, it is not covert to the all knowing GOD.  Another example of covert idolatry in Christian America is the Avis Rent-A-Car.   Avis Rent-A-Car spelled backward is Siva (Shiva) Rent-A-Car. 

Concerning the Feasts of the LORD, the Creator appointed seven Feasts after the Exodus to be celebrated according to well-described procedures.
The appointed Feast holidays (Sabbath days) were a shadow of things to come that is, they represented a form of prophecy to be fulfilled by the coming Messiah.

Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or the sabbath days.  Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.  (Colossians 2: 16,17)

Paul used “Sabbath days” to mean the Lord’s Feast holydays, not the weekly Sabbath which is in the Ten Commandments. The ordinances were nailed to the cross (Colossians 2:14), and abolished by Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:15), but the Ten Commandments, including the weekly Sabbath keeping, are to stand “till heaven and earth pass.” (Matthew 5:17-19)

The seven appointed Feasts, will be reviewed briefly and evaluated to ascertain their fulfillment in the life of Jesus Christ.  In the Northern Hemisphere, four of the Feasts occur during the spring season and the remaining three feasts during the fall. (Table IV)

Feasts of the Lord

In the Old Testament, the seven appointed feasts holidays (Sabbath days), required certain procedures to be performed, called the ordinances.  We will limit our discussion of the Feasts of the Lord to their symbolic meaning with regard to their fulfillment in the life of Jesus Christ and His return.  Two characteristics of these feasts should be mentioned however.  First, the requirement in every one of them for the shedding of blood from various animals, with each animal and the number of them having a symbolic meaning.  The main significance however is found in 1 John 3:4, Roman 6:23 and Hebrew 9:22.

For sin is the transgression of the law.  (1 John 3:4)

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.    (Roman 6:23)

And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.    (Hebrew 9:22)

The Most High is impressing upon us the severity and seriousness of the transgression of Eve and Adam, and the high price required from our Redeemer to buy us back.  The full meaning of these Feasts will have to await the return of His Majesty, who will teach us much.  The other characteristic of these feasts is that in every one, the Lord exhorts us to do “no servile work” during the feast holidays, the Sabbaths.  The wonderful Redeemer wants us to commune with Him as free men, not as slaves, because He has paid the price for our release and He is the only one who could do so.

A.  The three Feasts of the first month.

The first three feasts occurred during the first month of Exodus, that is, the month of Abib whose name, a few hundred years later, due to pagan influence, was changed to Nisan (See Table II).

1)  Passover

The Passover Lamb, representing Jesus Christ, is the central theme of the first three feasts.  The unblemished lamb (sinless nature of Jesus Christ) is chosen on Nisan 10.

Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house: Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:
(Exodus 12:3,5)

The Lamb is kept for 4 days and observed for imperfection in case it is with blemish that was not detected at first when chosen.  During the same time that the Passover lamb was under observation, Jesus Christ was also under observation by the chief priests and the scribes to find an excuse to put Him to death.

After two days was the feast of the Passover, and of unleavened bread: and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take him by craft, and put him to death.    (Mark 14:1)

On Nisan 14, in the afternoon, the lamb is killed.

And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening.   (Exodus 12:6)

Please note that the lambs killed are considered as one: “kill it.”

Then the Creator of heaven and earth told the Israelites that the blood of that lamb should be sprinkled at the entrance of their houses for protection to save their lives, when the Lord will pass through the land of Egypt.  Passover occurs at sunset at the end of Nisan 14, and the beginning of Nisan 15, the day of Passover. The fulfillment of this feast occurred some 1500 years later when the Lamb of GOD, Jesus Christ shed His blood for the redemption of mankind.

                               
And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it. (Exodus 12:7)

Afterward, the lamb was to be roasted with fire and eaten with unleavened bread and with bitter herbs.And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.  (Exodus 12:8)

2)  Unleavened bread

The day of Passover, Nisan 15, is the first day of unleavened bread, which lasted seven days, from the 15 to the 21 of Nisan.

In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at even, ye shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month at even.  (Exodus 12:18)

The yeast in the leavened bread represents the sinful nature of men, false teachings and hypocrisy.  Jesus Christ clarified the meaning of leaven:

In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.   (Luke 12:1)
Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.
Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the
Sadducees.(Matthew 16:6,12)

A similar interpretation of leaven is found in non-biblical sources.    

“In rabbinic interpretation, hametz (leavened bread) is seen as symbolic of the evil inclination.  The removal of all hametz is a metaphor for an inner process of purging and freeing ourselves of impurity – the hametz that lies within us” (14).

Paul explained the meaning of unleavened bread: sincerity and truth.

Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened.  For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us: Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.    (I Corinthians 5:7,8)

3)  Firstfruits

The feast of Firstfruits could not be celebrated until the Israelites arrived in the promised land, because they were on the move and did not have time to raise crops.

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye
be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest:
And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it.
(Leviticus 23: 10,11)

At the feast of Firstfruits, which occurred during the beginning of the barley harvest, the Israelites were told to cut a sheaf (bundles of barley tied together with a cord of wool), and to bring it to the priest, on Nisan 16.  He would then wave it before the LORD for approval.  The sequence of events for this feast was (14): On the 14th of Nisan, delegates from the Sanhedrin chose the spot in the barley field for the first sheaf: they tied together bundles of barley ears in the specified quantity needed for the offering.  At the end of the 15th of Nisan, toward the beginning of the 16th, three delegates with sickles and baskets went to the barley field to reap the chosen barley under public scrutiny to make certain that they followed the procedure exactly. Of interest is the questions asked the observing public by the delegates: With this sickle?  In this basket?  On this Sabbath?  Shall I reap?  This dialogue reminds one of a symbolic description of the rapture in Revelations 14: 14-16 (See Appendix I).

And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown and in his hand a sharp sickle. And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe. And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.
(Revelations 14: 14-16)

The delegates then carried the barley to the Temple for further processing and milling. On Nisan 16, the sheaf offering was to be accompanied by a burnt offering of an unblemished he lamb, symbolic of sinless Jesus Christ.  The “first sheaf,” without leaven, also represents Jesus Christ.  In order for the Most High to emphasize the absolute purity of the Passover Lamb Jesus Christ, the Israelites had to remove all leaven from their environment for the whole week.  Barley could only be sold and eaten after this presentation of the sheaf in the Temple.  The benefit to the Israelites was in the availability of the “approved” barley for their sustenance.

Let us see then when the Israelites first ate the firstfruits in the promised land.

And the children of Israel encamped in Gilgal, and kept the Passover on the fourteenth day of the month at even in the plains of Jericho.
And they did eat of the old corn of the land on the morrow after the Passover (Nisan 16), unleavened cakes, and parched corn in the selfsame day.
And the manna ceased on the morrow (Nisan 17) after they had eaten of the old corn of the land; neither had the children of Israel manna any more; but they did eat of the land of Canaan that year.
(Joshua 5: 10-12)

This was the first time the Israelites ate the firstfruits in the Promised Land, the day the manna was no longer provided.  They ate the firstfruits two days after Passover, that is Nisan 17.
The sheaf of firstfruits at the beginning of the barley harvest represents Jesus Christ after offering Himself as the Passover Lamb, on Nisan 14, the same day the barley sheaf was chosen in the field.  Just like the presentation of the first sheaf was required for approval on Nisan 16 before the Israelites could get the benefit from it by baking and eating the approved barley, the shedding of the blood of the unblemished Lamb, Jesus Christ, had to be presented in the Heavenly Temple, before the Heavenly Father, for approval on Nisan 16.

The resurrection of Jesus Christ on the following day, Nisan 17 (the same date the Israelites ate the firstfruits in the Promised Land), was proof that His sacrifice has been approved by the Heavenly Father for the redemption of mankind.  Another significance of that feast is the fact that the first time the Israelites ate the firstfruits after they just entered into the promised land on Nisan 17, they did not labor to sow and harvest the barley.  It was already there to be eaten.  The message from the Most High is that salvation is by grace through faith, not by works, lest any man should boast.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:
it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
(Ephesians 2:8,9)

B.  Feast of Pentecost

Fifty days after passover, is the fourth holy convocation, the feast of Pentecost, on Sivan 6.  The name Pentecost derives from a Greek word meaning fifty.

And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete: Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the LORD.   (Leviticus 23: 15-16)

The Feast of Pentecost occurred during the wheat harvest.  In Leviticus 23:15 “the morrow after the Sabbath” is obviously the day after Passover, the 16th of Nisan, no matter what day of the week it occurred. However, several attempts were made to change the meaning of the word “Sabbath” and to apply it to the weekly Sabbath so that the offering of the first sheaf and the day of Pentecost would always occur on the venerable day of the invincible Sun deity, that is, Sunday. Even at the time of Jesus Christ, the Sadducees were promoting this false doctrine.

“The expression, ‘the morrow after the Sabbath,’ has sometimes been misunderstood as implying that the presentation of the so-called ‘first sheaf’ was to be always made on the day following the weekly Sabbath of the Passover week. This view, adopted by the ‘Boethusians’ and the Sadducees in the time of Christ, and by the Karaite Jews and certain modern interpreters, rests on a misinterpretation of the word ‘Sabbath’ ” (15).

Common sense dictates that the time interval between the consummation of the Feast of First Fruits and the day of Passover should be constant from year to year in order for Jesus Christ to fulfill the sign of Jonah.  If that interval of time varied from year to year, with as much as eight days between Passover and the offering of the first sheaf, which supposedly would fall on the following Sunday, when Passover occurred on a Sunday, then the sign of Jonah could not be fulfilled which requires an interval of 3 days and 3 nights from the time Jesus Christ is placed in the sepulcher on the 14th of Nisan to the time of the resurrection on the consummation of the Feast of First Fruits.  Also, the date of Pentecost in the Hebrew calendar would vary from year to year, but would always occur on Sunday, the venerable day of the invincible sun deity.  The time interval between Passover and Pentecost would not be fifty days, but would vary from year to year.  The only one who benefited from this confusion is the sun deity, Satan.

During the feast of Pentecost, the wheat, used for the offering, was milled very fine and baked with leaven, symbolic of sinfulness and yet the two loaves of leavened bread were acceptable to the LORD. Why?  Because of the first sheaf which was without leaven, symbolic of Jesus Christ.  Since Jesus Christ was without sin, His sacrifice was acceptable to the LORD for the redemption of sinful man, the leavened bread made from the firstfruits of the wheat harvest.  Since the Divine and sinless nature of Jesus Christ was different than the mortal sinful nature of man, the first sheaf without leaven came from barley whereas, the firstfruits with leaven came from a different crop, wheat.  The firstfruits of the Christian harvest occurred in AD 31, on Sivan 6 at Pentecost, 7 days after the Ascension of Jesus Christ.
This was the beginning of the Christian Church, founded by Jesus Christ.

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.  And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.  And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.  (Acts 2:1-4)

C.  The three Feasts of the 7th month

1)  Feasts of Trumpets, Gathering

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, in the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.
(Leviticus 23:24)

This feast is symbolic of the full harvest of God’s elect at the return of Jesus Christ with His saints seven years after the Rapture. 

And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.  
(Matthew 24:31)

The elect is Israel.

For Jacob my servant’s sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me:    (Isaiah 45:4)

Daniel 12:1 clarifies further the meaning of “the elect”. 

and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.   
(Daniel 12:1)

Jesus Christ will send His angels to gather all the Israelites “written in the book” from the four corners of the world.  The fact that not all the Israelites but only those “written in the book” will be delivered means that being a carnal Israelite by blood only is no guarantee of deliverance.  Of interest is the fact that the regathering of the true Israelites will occur after the return of Jesus Christ.  Any regathering before then is done on behalf of the Antichrist.  That is why in Israel now, Christian Jews do not qualify for citizenship.
Jesus Christ makes a clear distinction between those He considers as real Jews, that is, His disciples, and others who called themselves Jews but are from the Synagogue of Satan.

Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
(Revelation 3:9 Jesus Christ)

The apostle Paul expanded further on this subject, and explained that the disciples of Jesus Christ are spiritual Jews:

And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.  (Galatians 3:29)

For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel: For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly;But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.     (Romans 9:6; 2:28,29)

The apostle Peter likewise stated in Acts 10:34,35:

God is no respecter of persons; but in every nation he that feareth Him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with Him.  (Acts 10:34,35)

2)  Day of Atonement

Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
(Leviticus 23:27)

The day of atonement is a day of fasting, confession and repentance.  One of the fulfillments of this feast will be the time when the chosen Israelites after their ingathering, will realize that Jesus Christ, whom their ancestors rejected, is after all their long awaited Messiah.

And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.        In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon.  And the land shall mourn, every family apart; the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart;  The family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of Shimei apart, and their wives apart.  All the families that remain, every family apart, and their wives apart.    (Zechariah 12: 10-14)

Five times, we read “their wives apart”.  Why is the family apart from the wife? 
Why are the wives put in quarantine?  Let us search the Word of God for an answer.  In Isaiah 14:12, we learn that Lucifer (Light Bearer) fell from heaven “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning!”  During His ministry, Jesus Christ stated:

I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.   (Luke 10:18)

“Beheld” is past tense, so the fall of Lucifer in Isaiah 14:12 occurred before the Incarnation, and Jesus Christ called him Satan (the Adversary).  The fall of Lucifer occurred even before the creation of Adam.  In the Garden of Eden (Genesis 3:1-6), Satan appeared in the form of a serpent as the adversary, the deceiver, not as Lucifer, the light bearer.  In Isaiah 14:12-15, Satan attempted a hostile takeover of God’s Throne, and he was cast out.  According to the secret teaching of Satan worshippers, Satan then established his headquarters on the Sirius Tristellar Complex, at a place called the greater lodge of Osiris (16), but according to Jesus Christ, that location is the Lake of Fire (Matthew 25:41).  See page 119 for more details.  When God created Adam and formed Eve from Adam’s rib, Satan did not have access to God’s Throne. 

According to Jude 1:6, Satan and the fallen angels did not keep their assigned habitation in the Lake of Fire, but came to earth, after it was created. 

And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.    (Jude 1:6)

Adam, who was created by God, became the mediator between God and Adam’s descendants, including Eve.  When Eve obeyed Satan and disobeyed the Creator, Satan became Eve’s god.  At that point in time, Adam had to choose between his Maker and his mate.  According to Genesis 3:17, these two options were available to Adam.

And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life.   (Genesis 3:17)

Had Adam chosen his Maker, he could have played the role of mediator and intercessor for Eve.  Instead, Adam obeyed Eve and disobeyed the Creator.  Eve became Adam’s goddess and Satan became the mediator of mankind by default.  With Satan as Eve’s god, then the sequence of events of the fall is: Creator Adam mankind Fall Creator Satan Eve mankind.  Satan regained access to God’s Throne as mediator between the Creator and fallen mankind.  Eve became the mediatrix between mankind and Satan.  In a religion that includes a mediatrix, the god worshipped is Satan.  As our mediator, Satan did not do a good job and instead, he became our accuser.  In the book of Job and Zechariah 3:1-4, the Most High is defending us against Satan accusations.  With a mediator like Satan, who needs an accuser!

Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.
And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?
Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?  But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.   (Job 1:6,8,9,11)

The Book of Job gives us a glimpse of Satan as our mediator.  For our erudition, The LORD chose the most upright man on the earth at that time to expose Satan as the accuser, not mediator of fallen man.  Before Satan’s accusations, the LORD had already declared Job “a perfect man”.  Satan’s arrogance is manifested by his denial of the fact.  The Supreme Judge of the universe declared Job “not guilty”.  If Satan was really our mediator, he would have been very pleased to agree with the LORD’s appraisal.  This episode occurred at a time when the ancient Egyptians worshiped Satan as the great mediatorial god Osiris (See page 119).  Zechariah 3:1,2 also revealed Satan as our accuser, with the LORD Himself serving as our Mediator.

And he shewed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist him. And the LORD said unto Satan, The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan;
(Zechariah 3:1,2)

Satan performed this role of mediator/accuser for almost 4,000 years, from the fall of Eve and Adam to the Incarnation of the only begotten Son of God, Jesus Christ.  The Heavenly Father must love us immensely as evidenced by John 3:16, the book of Job and Zechariah 3:1-4.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
(John 3:16)

Jesus Christ confirms that He was sent by God the Father and the Holy Spirit to redeem mankind.

Come ye near unto me, hear ye this, I have not spoken in secret
from the beginning, from the time that it was, there am I
and now the Lord GOD, and his Spirit, hath sent me.
(Isaiah 48:16)

Even before sending His only begotten Son with the mission to become our Redeemer, our Heavenly Father defended us from Satan’s accusations and obviously did not enjoy Satan’s attitude.  He had to endure Satan’s unpleasant presence 4,000 years.  What patience!  What tolerance!
The Son of man and Son of God, Jesus Christ, the second Adam, fully formed by God when implanted in His surrogate mother Mary’s womb, just like the first Adam was fully formed by God, qualified 2,000 years ago to be our Redeemer and Mediator by willingly shedding his precious blood to death.  Satan then lost his job as our accuser before God, thank God!  Two thousand years ago, Satan and his angels were “cast out into the earth”.

And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron; and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.
And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon fought and his angels,And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.    (Revelation 12:5, 7-10)

The primary goal of the incarnation was to destroy the works of the Devil.

…The Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.   (1 John 3:8)

Jesus Christ clarified the purpose of the incarnation in John 12:31-33.

Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.
And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.
This he said, signifying what death he should die. 
(John 12:31-33)

“The prince of this world”, Satan was “cast out” from God’s throne after the ascension of Jesus Christ, the second Adam, who replaced Satan as our Mediator.  The usurper of the first Adam’s role as our mediator lost his job as our accuser, but not before giving a good fight.  The Heavenly Father’s plan of salvation for mankind was finished.  Now, it is up to mankind to accept this offer of salvation, a free gift from a most gracious Father and from His only begotten Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
During the Imperium of Roman Emperor Tiberius, Satan and the fallen angels became in AD31 political refugees on planet earth.  With the help of the United Nations, they are preparing a powerful defensive force to prevent the return of Jesus Christ.  Obviously, it is doomed to failure.  The only place in the Bible when the Most High is laughing is regarding this human stupidity.  Fallen man has joined forces with Satan and his angels to keep possession of planet earth, and prevent the Rightful Owner from regaining possession of His creation.  Can they be that stupid??

Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.  
(Psalms 2:1-4)

Is there a connection between the wife’s quarantine in Israel and the revealed knowledge that the fall of man gave Satan access to God’s Throne a second time and our Redeemer had to pay a high price to reclaim man’s lost possession, evidenced by the wounds Jesus Christ will still have after His return?

And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.  (Zechariah 13:6)

What was Eve’s role in the fall?  According to the writer of the book of Ecclesiasticus in the 1611 King James Bible, Eve played the key role in the fall.

Sin began with a woman, and because of her we all die.
(Ecclesiasticus 25:24)

The apostle Paul stated:

For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. 
(Timothy 2:13,14)

That was 6,000 years ago.  Will there be a more recent rebellion with Eve’s daughters as the leaders?  Is it possible that before the return of Jesus Christ, (See Chapter VI) Eve’s daughters will lead the world in the penultimate human rebellion against their Maker through idolatry and Satan worship as Queen of Heaven?  The trend is already evident with the Goddess Movement.  The best selling book “The Da Vinci Code” by Dan Brown (17) is part of the great deception preparing the world for the worship of Satan as Queen of Heaven, the “Sacred Feminine” and the Risen Pope John Paul II as the Eucharistic Jesus (See Appendix IV).  Some female performers are worshipped as a diva (that is Latin for goddess) who flashes the Dakine (fisted hand with the index and little finger extended as a salute to Satan who granted them godhood), to identify the god they worship.  The extended thumb is an expression of love for Satan. 

Satan starts as a deceiver in the Garden of Eden and 7,000 years later he has not changed, still a deceiver when he joins the beast and the false prophet in the Lake of Fire (Revelation 20:10).  Will Eve’s daughters believe the same lie Eve heard in the Garden of Eden?  Satan promised godhood to Eve.  Today, he bestows divahood on Eve’s daughters.  Mankind seems to have a fatal attraction for Satan and his demons.  Even after 1,000 years of peace and plenty for mankind, under Theocracy with Jesus Christ Himself, KING of kings, ruling from His Throne in Shiloh during the Messianic Kingdom, (See Appendix V), and Satan in the bottomless pit, there is still a human rebellion (the ultimate) against The Creator as soon as Satan is released from prison.

And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as that sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

3)  Feast of Tabernacles

This is the most festive of the feasts, which occurred after the summer harvest.  From the 15th to the 21st of Tishri, the Israelites had to leave the comfort of their home and were required to camp out in tabernacles made of branches and leaves of surrounding trees.  The roof allowed sunlight to pass through and at night, lying down inside, they should be able to see the full moon and the stars.  In Chapter IV, evidence will be presented for the fulfillment of this feast in the birth and baptism of Jesus Christ.            

Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, the fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD. 

Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath.

(Take note that this is the only Feast with an eighth day Sabbath)

And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God seven days.
(Leviticus 23: 34, 39,40)

After the return of Jesus Christ, all conquered nations will “go up” every year on the feast of tabernacles, (that is His birthday as we shall discuss later) to worship the KING of kings in Shiloh and to bring Him birthday gifts.  The pilgrims will “go up” to Shiloh because the great earthquake of Zechariah 14:4 will move Shiloh upward on top of a newly formed mountain (See Appendix IV).

And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
(Zechariah 14:16)

The feast of Tabernacles is the only one with an eighth day Sabbath on Tishri 22, called the Octave.  On that day, the Israelites returned to their homes for a holy convocation.  This eight day Sabbath, which could occur on any day of the week, may be symbolic of the future time at the beginning of the eighth millenium since creation when the new Jerusalem will descend from the new Heaven on the new Earth, and all the fullness of the LORD will tabernacle among His redeemed.  The only feasts not yet fulfilled are the Feast of Trumpet and the Day of Atonement.  Of interest is the fact that today, Jews only observe these two feasts.
