Quotes about and from President Abraham Lincoln
If there were ever a true disciple of Jesus Christ to occupy the White House, Abraham Lincoln would qualify. Just like Moses who led the captive Israelites out of Egyptian bondage to the Promised Land and then was denied entry into that land, Lincoln led four million black slaves out of captivity to be denied enough longevity to see the fruits of his labor.
One man who knew President Lincoln well was his contemporary, Charles Chiniquy, a Catholic priest who left the pagan Church of Rome to become a disciple of Jesus Christ. In 1886, Chiniquy published a book “Fifty Years in the Church of Rome” (1). In this book, he shared with the reader the dialogues he entertained with President Lincoln. The following quotes are from Chiniquy’s book. Chiniquy acknowledged that President Abraham Lincoln was a true disciple of Jesus Christ.
“Every time I met President Lincoln, I wondered how such elevation of thought and such childish simplicity could be found in the same man. … The secret was that Lincoln had spent a great part of his life at the school of Christ, and that he meditated His sublime teachings to an extent unsuspected by the world. I found in him the most perfect type of Christianity I ever met. Professedly, he was neither a strict Presbyterian, nor a Baptist, nor a Methodist: but he was the embodiment of all which is more perfect and Christian in them.”
“Many of those who approached Abraham Lincoln felt that there was a prophetic spirit in him, and that he was continually walking and acting with the thought of God in his mind, and only in view to do His will and work for His glory.”
Regarding slavery and the emancipation of the blacks in the South, Lincoln commented:
“I know there is a God, and that He hates injustice and slavery. I see the storm coming, and I know that His hand is in it. If He has a place and work for me, and I think He has, I believe I am ready! I am nothing, but truth is everything! I know I am right, because I know that liberty is right: for Christ teaches it and Christ is God.”
President Lincoln’s admonition to his Nation in a speech given on April 30, 1863 (2), would be most appropriate for today’s America.
“We have been the recipients of the choicest bounties of heaven. We have been preserved, these many years, in peace and prosperity. We have grown in numbers, wealth and power, as no other nation has ever grown. But we have forgotten God. We have forgotten the gracious hand, which preserved us in peace, and multiplied and enriched and strengthened us; and we have vainly imagined, in the deceitfulness of our hearts, that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom or virtue of our own. Intoxicated with unbroken success, we have become too self-sufficient to feel the necessity of redeeming and preserving grace, too proud to pray to the God that made us! It behooves us then, to humble ourselves before the offended Power, to confess our national sins, and to pray for clemency and forgiveness.”
Concerning the instigators of the Civil War, President Lincoln said:
“There is a fact which is too much ignored by the American people, and with which I am acquainted only since I became president; it is that the best, the leading families of the South have received their education in great part, if not in whole, from the Jesuits and the nuns. Hence those degrading principles of slavery, pride, cruelty, which are as a second nature among so many of those people. Hence that strange want of fair play, humanity; that implacable hatred against the ideas of equality and liberty as we find them in the Gospel of Christ. … Unfortunately, the Jesuits and the nuns have in great part remained the teachers of those people since. They have continued in a silent, but most efficacious way, to spread their hatred against our institutions, our laws, our schools, our rights and our liberties in such a way that this terrible conflict became unavoidable between the North and the South. As I have told you before, it is to popery that we owe this terrible civil war.”
President Lincoln understood that the letter of Pope Pius IX to Jeff Davis, addressing Davis as President, was Lincoln’s death warrant. This letter caused a mass defection of Roman Catholics from the Union Army to join the Confederates of the South. Pope Pius IX was betting on Jeff Davis to be the one who will hoist the statue of Juno Sospita (the warning Juno), commonly known as Lady Liberty, to the top of the Capitol building. This statue was conceived in Rome, just like the statue of Juno Regina Caelestis (Juno, Queen of Heaven) on the Island of the Sun, commonly known as the Statue of Liberty on Ellis Island.
The Capitol building on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. is a replica of the Capitoline Triad in Rome, essentially a basilica for Jupiter, Juno and Minerva. Washington D.C. could be called the New Rome and it is full of idolatry. Remember that the Creator of heaven and earth is a Jealous GOD and although long suffering will punish idolaters. He is the same GOD who sent ancient Judah into Babylonian captivity for worshipping the Queen of Heaven, that is, Isiss/Juno.
Seest thou not what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem? The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger. (Jeremiah 7:18,19)
After President Lincoln became aware of the Pope Pius IX letter to Jeff Davis, he told Chiniquy:
“Unfortunately, I feel more and more every day, that it is not against the Americans of the South, alone, I am fighting, it is more against the pope of Rome, his perfidious Jesuits and their blind and blood-thirsty slaves. …it is my impression that the Jesuits, who are the principal rulers of the South will do what they have almost invariably done in the past. The dagger or the pistol will do what the strong hands of the warriors could not achieve.”
“So many plots have already been made against my life, that it is a real miracle that they have all failed, when we consider that the great majority of them were in the hands of the skillful Roman Catholic murderers, evidently trained by Jesuits. But can we expect that God will make a perpetual miracle to save my life? I believe not. The Jesuits are so expert in those deeds of blood, that Henry IV said that it was impossible to escape them, … My escape from their hands, since the letter of the pope to Jeff Davis has sharpened a million of daggers to pierce my breast, would be more than a miracle.”
Chiniquy commented:
“Never had I heard such sublime words. Never had I seen a human face so solemn and so prophet-like as the face of the president, when uttering these things. I was beside myself. Bathed in tears, I tried to say something, but I could not utter a word. I know the hour to leave had come, I asked from the president permission to fall on my knees, and pray with him that his life might be spared; and he knelt with me. But I prayed more with tears and sobs, than with words. … The hour was fast approaching when he was to fall by the hands of a Jesuit assassin, for his nation’s sake.”
Who was the assassin of President Lincoln? Chiniquy quotes historian Abbot:“But who was that assassin? Booth was nothing but the tool of the Jesuits. It was Rome who directed his arm, after corrupting his heart and damning his soul. … Read the history of the assassination of Admiral Coligny, Henry III and Henry IV, and William the Taciturn, by the hired assassins of the Jesuits; compare them with the assassination of Abraham Lincoln, and you will find that one resembles the other like two drops of water. You will understand that they all come from the same source, Rome!
The murderers, selected and trained by the Jesuits, were of the most exalted Roman Catholic piety, living in the company of priests, going to confess very often, receiving the communion the day before, if not the very day of the murder. You will see that the assassins were considering themselves the chosen instruments of God, to save the nation by striking its tyrant; that they firmly believed that there was no sin in killing the enemy of the people, of the holy Church, and of the infallible pope!”
The Creator could have continued to protect Lincoln from the Jesuits like He did for Queen Elisabeth I of England, King James I and Oliver Cromwell. The Spanish Armada sent by the pope to depose Queen Elisabeth I was destroyed by the Almighty and His Holiness the pope gave up the ghost. Could it be that some activities of President Lincoln were offensive to the LORD, this is, activities just before his assassination? Concerning Moses, the Creator gave the reason why He would not allow Moses to see the promise land: He disobeyed the LORD at the waters of Meribah and did not sanctify the LORD in they eyes of the Israelites. Let us review the sequence of events after the crossing of the Rea Sea. The Israelites complained to Moses about the absence of drinking water in the area. Moses then turned to the LORD for help.
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
Take the rod, and gather thou the assembly together, thou, and Aaron thy brother, and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes; and it shall give forth his water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock: so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink. And Moses took the rod from before the LORD, as he commanded him. And Moses and Aaron gathered the congregation together before the rock, and he said unto them, Hear now, ye rebels, must we fetch you water out of this rock? And Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod he smote the rock twice and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their beasts also. And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them. (Numbers 20:7-12)
Moses put himself as coequal to the Creator when he said, “must we …”. To add insult to injury, Moses then proceeded to ignore the LORD’s order to speak to the rock and instead smote (struck) the rock twice. In the eyes of the Israelites, Moses had exalted himself and did not sanctify the LORD. This is a form of idolatry, more accurately, egolatry, the worship of self. For some reason, Moses did not think that just speaking to the rock as the LORD commanded, would be effective. This is the same Moses who parted the Red Sea by raising his rod, so he had already experienced the awesome power of the LORD just a few days before.
When President Lincoln presided over the hoisting of the statue of Juno Sospita (Lady Liberty) over the Capitol building, which is a shrine for Jupiter, Juno and Minerva, did the Creator see it as a public act of idolatry? Juno is the Roman version of the Egyptian goddess, Isiss, Queen of Heaven, the counterfeit of the Holy Spirit in the satanic trinity and the female aspect of hermaphrodite Satan, doing business now as the Roman Catholic Mary (3). On the night of his assassination, Lincoln was a spectator in the Ford Theater, watching a play. These theaters evolved from Greek theaters which themselves evolved from Dionysian worship, Dionysus being one of the many names of Satan (3). Did the LORD who is a Jealous GOD take offense?
